Ok, so I’m sure you’ve all seen the viral skin smoothies going around that are filled with some VERY unique, hard to find, and incredibly expensive ingredients. But I want  you know that you can make a smoothie at home that is JUST as great for your skin health & WON’T break the bank!

 

So without further ado, here’s my incredibly delicious super skin smoothie that won’t break the bank! It’s filled with tasty, skin loving ingredients that aren’t too hard to come by, so you can make it every single day.

 

Step 1 

Chop & mash some strawberries.

The salicylic acid present in strawberries reduces and fades away hyperpigmentation and dark spots. They also contain vitamin C that helps to brighten the skin.

 

Step 2

Put the mashed strawberries into your glass

 

Step 3 

Add a yogurt layer to your glass.

The calcium content in yogurt helps to effectively nourish the skin, hair, and nails. At the same time, it has a moisturizing effect on the skin, preventing dryness of the skin.

 

Step 4

Add some more strawberries to your blender 

 

Step 5

Add a handful of blueberries to the blender. 

 

Blueberries are high in antioxidants, fiber, and nutrients. These help support your skin's ability to fight inflammation related to acne, psoriasis, eczema, and premature aging.


Step 6

Add some yogurt to your blender

 

Step 7

Roughly chop some mango and add to your blender. 

 

Mangoes are high in antioxidants and phytochemicals that protect the body from free radicals that damage the skin and induce premature aging.

 

Step 8

Add a teaspoon of honey

 

 Honey contains antioxidants, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties, it helps to rid your skin of blackheads by removing dirt from pores.

 

Step 9

Roughly chop a quarter of an avocado and add to your blender.

 

Avocados are high in healthy fats, antioxidants & B Vitamins that help with achieving healthy, glowing skin. Healthy fats are essential to keeping skin flexible and moisturized and help reduce the appearance of aging.

 

Step 10
