What is melasma? …and how can you eliminate it?

Ever noticed some odd lighter brown splotches on your skin that seemed to pop up overnight? This may in fact be melasma.

I personally had a patch pop up on my cheek out of the blue when I was around 26. I used every kind of skin brightening serum & even did laser facials every 2 weeks in hopes of getting rid of this patch. But all I did was waste my time & money. This patch just wouldn’t budge!

Melasma is a condition in which brown patches appear on the face. The brown or grey-brown patches of melasma appear most often on the cheeks, forehead, nose and chin.

There are two main causes of melasma: radiation, whether ultraviolet, visible light, or infrared (heat) light; and hormones. Ultraviolet and infrared radiation from the sun are key in making melasma worse.

After releasing the Acne Cleanse & seeing how it helped so many people across the globe, I decided that we needed to also help people achieve beautiful, even glass skin. I personally really wanted some supplements to help with my melasma. This is what led us to develop the Perfect Skin Kit!

The Kit has been expertly formulated with ingredients that are proven to target melasma, dark spots, scarring & uneven skin from within.

Eliminate melasma naturally from within!

Vitamin C

Oral vitamin C supplements may help melasma by protecting the skin from the sun, neutralizing free radicals that cause skin inflammation and blocking the production of melanin pigment.

Vitamin B12

B12 also promotes collagen formation while supporting the growth of new skin cells. It also improves the skin's tone, texture, and consistency to produce a healthy glow. It helps diminish hyperpigmentation, and can prevent dryness, inflammation, and acne.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is highly rich in antioxidants that are essential for lowering inflammation, prevent skin damage, restore the skin's natural health and help in evening the tone. Along with these benefits, Vitamin E is also helpful in controlling melasma & hyperpigmentation and is a natural nourishing agent for the skin.

Vitamin B5

This vitamin can help to improve skin texture and elasticity due to its moisturizing and soothing properties. It also helps to improve healing and certain skin conditions and symptoms such as acne, dark spots, wrinkles, and eczema.

Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 can help to prevent hyperpigmentation and dark spots that are caused by an excess production of melanin. CoQ10 does this by helping to stop the production of tyrosinase which is the catalyst for melanin production.

Zinc

Zinc helps lighten pigmentation and contributes to bright, glowing skin by regulating the production of melanin. It also helps reduce inflammation and breakouts and helps lessen the visible signs of ageing.

Licorice Root

Licorice Root interrupts the enzymes that activate melanin production to help prevent pigmentation from worsening whilst also fading current dark spots.
